mordacity says Once he was seated, she giddily returned to her position behind the bar, leaning against it to face him comfortably. She noted his glance about and smiled gently. "Bar closes up in a couple of hours if you're still around. Everyone will be out by then," she offered quietly. She never wanted him to feel uncomfortable around her. "And Kuda, you could stop by every day and I think I'd still miss seeing you around." The flirty comment slipped from her with ease, though she still kept her gentle smile, hoping all the while it hadn't been too forward.

mordacity says His temporary silence, while surprising to Annaliese, didn't upset her at all, allowing him the time to come to his thoughts. Finally getting a response, she grinned. "You're never a bother to me! You're more than welcome to stay. And I'm sure they won't mind much either," she returned, looking around to each of her regulars, minding their own businesses. "Catching up is always a priority," she added, gesturing to a bar stool. "And after we've caught up and you start swinging around more often, we can maybe plan our trip."

mordacity says She rested her head against him, absolutely beaming despite the fact he couldn't witness it. "Of course I'd be okay with that. It'd be a fun way to get you started, I think. I could make flyers and get the word out ASAP, just give me a day." Relishing the feeling of his fingers running through her short hair, she sighed out contently. "Sake would just be a bonus," she mused, "but your company would make it all worthwhile anyway." Giving him one more tight squeeze before pulling away, she laughed giddily, the sound seemingly bubbling to her lips. "This is all so exciting! I figured I'd offer you a chair or a drink, though, as much as I've been enjoying this."

mordacity says "I-I could throw events here and hire you to cater, if you think that'd help! Maybe it could get the word out. Music and food would bring anyone here, especially if you're the one cooking. I'm sure you're just fantastic at it." The reminder of the Kyoto trip caused her to giggle lightly, and she was sure even he could feel the jump her heart took at the idea. "Feed me anytime, really," she returned, unraveling the curls she'd created in his hair with her fingers. "I don't know if I'll ever be prepared for it, but I want to go. Badly. It would be great, really." Annaliese leaned against him, taking in his warmth and inhaling deeply. "I try not to worry when you disappear, since I'm sure you're always doing well. But I do miss having you around. I think about you a lot, too."

mordacity says "Maybe that just makes the times you are here all the more special. A restaurant? How exciting!" She rocked to her toes in the giddy eagerness she felt, the hand resting so carefully on her hip reminding her of his realness. Twirling his hair around her finger, admiring its length, she continued, voice rushed in all her animation. "I'll be sure to be one of your first customers. I'll support you all the way--that's going to be so good for you, Kuda. What kind of food are you going to make? All good, I'm sure." Giving him a laugh, she shrugged. "I'm doing well! Slow as ever here, not that I'm complaining."
