Jurthiea was once part of a great herd but the land started to change and food became hard to find. The leader kept everyone moving but if you lagged behind, then you were left alone.
The snow came down slowly but the further the herd went the harder the snow fell and soon you couldn't see ahead. Eventually she realized the herd was gone, Jurthiea called out but the wind was too strong. Alone she traveled for many miles, getting colder with each step. Until she saw a strange blackish/blue creature. It stopped running and looked up at Jurthiea, she asked the creature if it knew of a place to stay, the creature chirped and ran off a little ways waiting for her to follow. It then lead her to a castle.
The castle was dark with icy walls and great icicles hanging from the walls and battlements but smoke came from a chimney. She went inside thinking she could get warm but it was even colder inside. Looking around all she saw was strange insect like creatures flying around. Walking around hoping to find someone but every room she went is seemed empty. Soon she got too tired and sat in a hallway and kept called for help until a dark angry looking woman came before her, the woman said she was a Queen.
The Queen said she could help with the cold but Jurthiea would have to serve her forever. Desperately Jurthiea agreed but instead of getting warmer, she got colder and colder until there was nothing but the cold and surprisingly the cold no longer bothered her.
