Like his brother, Inception was created, not officially 'born' into this world. Though, his design came with little to no flaws quite like his sibling, though with an alternatively darker purpose. Whereas his brother was given good graces and a divine power, his became more wicked and evil than those involved imagined, and quite like his brother, he was given to someone else to be kept in check. Israfel, the angel of the end was the one to keep this creature under wraps, and although not as loyal as his brother, Inception obeyed.
Though his official task is delayed, he has been granted the ability to cause vivid nightmares. Quite the polar of his brother, his nightmares are ones made purely of terror and fright. You deepest and darkest horrors are exploited when this one enters your dreams, and there's no escaping until he either wakes you up, or you fall out of it. Though, his nightmares are usually saved for a select few, for he does not gain any pleasure from causing them, but is assigned to give people the horrendous visions and cause them either to go delusional and be consumed by paranoia. The reason behind this is uncertain, but a lot about him is like that.
When met on a one on one basis, he can seem rather distant and dark, wanting nothing to do with the living or dead alike. However, under all that hatred and contempt, he can be rather... kind. It's a part of him that remains buried and hidden, but there is a lighter side of this beast's heart, people just generally don't take the time to find it. That, and he tries to keep it well hidden from those who would only hurt him in the end.
