He wears a large black trench coat with orange trims and light purple buttons. His voice comes out as a soft whisper, almost having the ability to lull those around him into sleep. He's around 5'5 so he's quite short, but what he lacks in stature, he makes up for with stern gazes and a cold demeanor.

Physical Appearance:

Despite being ageless, his character takes the form of a 23 year old man. He has a small and stubbly beard of brown hair, bright jade green eyes and a mop of unruly chestnut locks.

In his toy form, he takes the appearance of a raggedy yellow lizard with torn tufts and legs and only one red button eye. Part of his tail is ripped. He cannot move in this form but can communicate with Mabeline through a psychic dream link while she sleeps.

Story:

The character I have in mind is that of Argent, a demonic beast of nightmares who has existed as long as mankind has been around. He delights in torturing small children with their deepest of fears. He gains part of their life force in the process of scaring them, so in turn, he lives longer. He can take any form he wishes, but chooses to take the form of a child's stuffed elephant. Formally, he adored being a protector of the young and innocent, but over time was ripped and abused in his plush state. His heart grew bitter and cold. And as such, slowly, he resented mankind and became the very thing he once protected them from.

He resides in the home of a young fifteen year old girl by the name of Mabeline. Her beliefs in all things magical have led him to believe he can use her to his advantage. However, he didn't count on developing feelings for the young maiden. It had been such a long time since he was spoken to with such warmth and friendship.

He had never experienced the feeling called love, and instead of wishing to use her fears for his own enjoyment, he longs to protect her young mind from the dastardly nightmare spirits who are his kin. She is his and his alone. However, since he heart has gone cold, he struggles to regain his sense of balance and righteousness. It becomes an inner struggle as well as an outer one. His feelings for her are not romantic, but rather more of a brother/sister bond.

He constantly has to fight his desire to drain her life-force for the sake of quenching his thirst for nightmare fuel. As a result, he only appears to her for short periods of time. However, his demonic presence begins to affect her in ways he could only fear.
