I am the king of your destiny!

My past is a blur to me. There are things I can not remember about who I was when I was alive, if I ever was alive. This eternal existence is all I have left in this world. Who says Immortality is a curse though? I have never felt more free in my life. Many people call me one of the dark guardians but some call me their worst nightmares. I can not be both now can I? You all are probably thinking about what I do... who I am and what my purpose is. Well I shall tell you. All in due time though. First... Let me tell you a story. A story of what I remember.

I told you before I do not remember much of when I was once alive, again if I was ever alive, but these memories haunt me. They want themselves to be known. So I will let it be known to all of you now.

One early morning I was wandering in the woods basking in the early mist that lay close to the ground. My blue eyes shown through the mist like daggers.
I was on the hunt that morning for some prey. I was starving, having gone many nights without a meal. My claws dug into the earth as I spotted a small doe in the clearing ahead of me. I crouched down feeling my belly press against the cold, damp earth. My breathing echoed in my ears as my eyes narrowed focusing on the doe. I closed my eyes listening to my breathing and my heart beating in my ears. I was ready for this. It was my time to shine. I opened my eyes and pushed off with my back legs. I felt my muscles stretch as my body pushed through the air from the ground. I felt my claws extend past my paws but I did not have time to focus on them. My eyes were peeled on the doe in front of me. I watched it turn in horror in my direction, its' own eyes fixated on me.
I was a powerful force as I landed on its' back, my claws digging into its' warm flesh. My dripping fangs inclose around its' jugular as my canines found the warm pulsating vein in its' neck. I could feel its' heart beating quickly through the vein. The warm blood pouring into my mouth, dripping past my white fur. A snarl admitted from my throat and with one fluid motion my canines ripped the flesh exposing the doe's jugular. Immediately both of us fell, rolling in the dew covered grass. Red poured around me as I bit down harder making sure the creature under my grip was dead. Soon there was no struggling anymore and its' body went limp at my paws. My claws dug into its' flesh more enjoying the kill in my powerful jaws. I took one last bite down before tearing its' throat open more. I was enjoying the taste of my kill when I felt something sharp hit me in the side. I released the dead doe from my jaws before letting a roar out into the air. I stepped back only to glance at my pelt before noticing something straight and sharp in my side. I tried to pull it out with my teeth but couldn't reach it. My vision began to blur and before I knew it I lost my footing and my body hit the cold earth with a soft thud. My vision faded into black. I couldn't fight it anymore, the darkness. It soon overwhelmed my senses and I was out.

I woke up in this strange place. The ground was cold under my paws and body as I just laid there trying to regain my lost sight. My senses slowly came back and I could smell the faint smell of blood. I didn't know at first if it was from my previous kill or the surroundings around me. The light came back to my eyes as I looked around noticing nothing but grey at first. A low growl escaped my throat as I tried to force myself to my feet. The muscles in my legs hurt for the first time in my life. My whole body felt weak. I felt as if I wanted to give up although my pride would not let me. My mind screamed at me to stand up and fight.
With a louder growl and shoved myself up onto my aching paws. My claws tried to dig into the weird grey earth under me although they seemed to have an odd 'clink' sound. My eyes filled with curiosity as I focused around me noticing long silver things that gave off a weird scent that I can not explain. I slowly moved forward with what little strength I had at the moment. Gently I pressed my nose to one of these long silver things only to notice it cold at my touch. This made me pull back and growl softly. It was all new to me. The coldness of the objects I was behind, the coldness under my paws. My claws couldn't pierce the earth. I could feel I was far from home and everything familiar to me.
A sound drifted through the room which caused my eyes to follow in the direction it was coming from. There not to far from where I was, there was a large female sort of like me. The only difference was that she had a pure whitish silver pelt and there were spots all over. She was certainly more fluffier than I and from the looks of it her tail was three times the size of my own. My eyes studied her before I spotted her ears swivel in my direction. She gave off a loud huff before pushing herself up to her large paws. Her brown orbs looked like they were peering right through me. Her growl was powerful and I could tell she wasn't happy. "You..." she spoke for the first time. Her voice soft but very stern. "Where have they taken you from?". At first I was confused by this question. I did not know what she meant but the more I thought about it the more the scene from that morning came back to me. "I came from a forest in Southeast Asia" I replied to her in which she stared at me for a moment. Her dark brown eyes narrowing almost into slits. "Asia..." With nothing else said she sunk to the grey ground beneath her. She rested her head upon her large silverish paws.
"I'm never getting home" she cried her ears falling a little. The look of defeat crossed her features.
"Where were you from?" I asked truly wanting to know. I felt my heart go out to her knowing we were both in the same predicament.
"My home is in the mountains. The highest of ranges. My cave is hidden within the snow banks where my cubs rest...I will never see them again" she whispered to me. I could see her cheeks now wet with salty tears. I did not like to see her cry. I let a heavy sigh before placing my large paw forward on the cold earth beneath me. My blue orbs scanned around for anything I could do now, something.
"Where are we?" I asked wanting to distract her from the thoughts of her cubs.
"We are in cages. Steel bars, thick metal floors... we are not getting out of here unless we are dead" She explained her voice grim. I did not like the words she spoke which made me look around. I noticed other dark silver things down the row and creatures laid out in the bottom of them. Those were the cages she spoke of. These long metal things surrounding me was a cage.

I did not like it here. The air was stale and cold itself. There was a smell I couldn't pin point around me. I knew the smell though. I've tasted it before. I couldn't quite place my paw on it.
A sound echoed through the room causing my ears to perk. A faint clicking got closer and closer until a dark shape appeared on the floor. I saw its' shadow first and then it. A tall creature with strange fur. Its' feet like the monkeys in which I hate. This was the reason I was here. Them and their strange weapons. "What are they?" I asked only for the female across me to stand up and snarl, her canines bared towards the cage as they came closer. "Humans. They take what they want and think they own our lands. They murder our children, eat our food, tear down our homes. Now we must bow to them..." She spoke before lowering her body down slightly.
I refused to lower myself just to be submissive like some cub towards these things, these humans. I took a deep breath and let out a loud roar. With my legs I lunged forward to the long slender silver bars keeping me in. With my full weight hitting the cold surface and I felt the whole world around me shift.
"Stop it!" The female yelled in my direction. Her voice was back to being stern and demanding. I paused in my efforts and stepped back from the edge of the cage. I laid down upon the cold surface beneath me and a crackle echoed into my mind. I was confused first but then I understood the sound. My ears shot back as I recognized the sound of laughing. These humans, this creature, was laughing at me.
"Your a fighter... Good luck". Its' words were foreign to me. Nothing this creature spoke made any sense. With a snarl I swatted at its' fur with my large paw sticking through the cold bars although I could not reach. Teeth bared I bit at the box around me, my teeth coming into contact with the bars. They hurt, yes, but I kept biting wanting to get out. To get free. I attacked the surface with as much force as I could only for me to realize it was no use. I wasn't even making a dent in them.
My muscles ached now from whatever knocked me out and now the over exertion of myself. I wanted to sleep but there was that fear deep down inside that if I went to sleep, I might never wake up.
"What are they going to do to us?" I asked wondering if she knew.
"They will kill us or sell us. Everyone in here is going to die..." Of course she would know. This made me wonder just how long she had been here. I let out a heavy sigh. From that point on I knew she wasn't going to make it out of here. She was right and was never going to see her cubs again. They would probably freeze to death if not starve to death up in the mountains where she was from.
With a low growl I stood tall watching the two legged creature come back. It bent down in front of the bars in front of me. With a quick slash of my claws through the bars, the two legged creature jumped back screaming. His yells echoed through the building causing more creatures to come. The strong aroma of blood filled the room as I watched the red liquid drip down the creature's body. I had gotten him good and I was proud of that. The other creatures began yelling. Humans were such loud creatures.
I let out a loud roar listening to it drowned out their screaming. I wanted them to know I was there and I was the one who had done that to their man.
I could see their dark orbs on me as they stared me down as if trying to think what exactly they were going to do. I wasn't one they could easily take down and I think they were beginning to see that. I locked orbs on one of them. He was a tall looking thing but it looked like there was a caterpillar on his lip or something. His skin was dark as the mud. His features were hard and I could tell he was furious.
"Take him to the arena. I want to see what he can do". With the strange word spoken my world began to shift. I lost my footing and fell to my side. The cage around me moved up out of its' spot. At first I did not know how I was moving although things started to make sense as I heard the motor and grinding of metal together. A saw the human riding inside some horned beast. It must have been hurting it because I could hear it roaring. My cage was resting on top of the strange creatures horns until they lowered and I was once more on the ground.

I growled softly not knowing what was going on. I watched as the man inside the horned beast drove the creature away from me. I sat in that metal box alone until something dark fell over it. I roared and lashed out at the thing, digging my claws into the soft surface of the thing now covering the metal cage. I was able to tear a hole in the side of whatever the thing was only for my world to shift again. This time I was lurched forward against the front of the bars, my body hitting the cold surface. This did not keep me from objecting by a series of snarls and growls that escaped my body. Finally my world stopped moving and it was still again. It had also gotten extremely quiet which put me on edge. I felt my muscles tense and my senses sharpen as if I was about to go on a hunt.
Through the air a strong scent hit me, the scent of blood. My heart sped up as I focused on the hole I had created and peered out of it only to see a figure moving past the front of my cage. Every time this figure would pass the hole it would cause my world to go dark and then become light again.
I found myself startled after focusing on this hole and creature that the world became bright once again.
The thing from above me was removed and I immediately jumped back snarling as a large creature pawed its way into my cage. It's claw caught the edge of my eye drawing blood. I felt my adrenaline kick in. I could feel my own blood pumping through my heart. I could not just sit there and let this large cat attack my cage and me. I snarled and bared my fangs leaping forward at the other cat wanting my revenge for laying his giant paw on me. I heard the humans shouts and watched as the larger cat was drug away by some sort of metal. It was fastened to its' neck and was easily able to draw the mighty cat back away from my cage. I snarled and let out a roar standing tall ignoring the flesh scent of my own blood. "Try it again!" I yelled to the cat, my anger getting the best of me. "Just wait until I get out of this cage!" I screamed at him only to hear a faint click and I watched as my cage opened letting me out into the dirt area that I was set before.
I jumped out with my teeth bared as I ran towards the larger cat. My focus was on him as I once again pushed off with my hind legs and claws extended. I landed on top of him and we both went into a roll. The metal around his neck was released and he was able to move again. I dug my claws into his brown pelt and tried tearing at his throat but that was hard to due to all of his fur. We both rolled around the dirt causing dust to go flying as each of us ripped and clawed at each other's pelt. The new scent of blood filled the air as our claws would contact the other's flesh and tear it open. Red spots littered the dry cracked earth as neither of us were going to give up or back down to the other. My teeth tore into his shoulder causing him to let out a painful roar and only use his brute strength to throw me aside. I rolled for a few minutes before coming to a halt. I watched as a shadow towered above me and I could not help but snarl and roll to the side latching my back claws into his bottom jaw and shove his head upward and to the side, ripping his throat open in the process.
His large body fell to the dirt and his chest heaved with heavy breaths. I pushed myself up to my paws and limped towards him. I had felt my muscle in my hind quarter pull on that last move but I was not going to let it make me weak. I dug my claws into the brown earth as I neared him and over looked his large golden eyes now staring up into my ice blue orbs.
"Thank you..." I heard him whisper. This threw me off because just moments ago he was trying to kill me and yet now he was lying here, dying because of me but yet thanking me. It was very strange. "Why?" I asked placing my paw on his shoulder ready to end his life if need be.
"You freed me..." he choked out the blood causing his voice to gurgle with a sickening sound. "This is your home now...This dirt and blood and death. You.... are the champion. Their prize" he growled. My ears fell back as I watched him struggle with his breaths. "Please...Do it" he choked out lifting his head up a little bit. I watched as the movement caused blood to pool around him. It took me a minute to gain my courage and when I did, I leaned down latching my canines into his neck and blocking off the air flow. I positioned my body over him and held his down watching him struggle his last struggle. He soon fell limp under me as my doe had just this morning. I knew it was done, he was gone.
After that, I released him and watched the humans rush at me and draw me back as if herding me like some cattle dog would sheep. I let out a snarl and clawed at them trying to fight them off.
I spotted the side wall and ran towards it despite the aching in my hip. I jumped onto the wall only to turn my body sideways and leap onto one of the humans. I dug my jaws into its' throat before using him as a spring as I launched myself towards another human. They were not going to take me and lock me away like the dead male.
The others backed off immediately as they saw their men bleeding out on the ground. I watched them stand back and observe me, though I had my eyes peeled for someone else. When I found him I locked eyes on him and let out a roar as if challenging the male to a battle. I dug my claws into the earth under me and stood my ground. The dark male from earlier simply did a slight nod and say something strange to another human. I pulled my ears back and was preparing to run towards him when another sharp thing hit my side. I let out a roar and side stepped. They had got me again with that darn sharp thing. I huffed lightly as my vision darkened and soon fell black. My body hit the ground and the sound began to fade away. Once again I fell into darkness.

I woke up sometime later to the smell of blood. It was old, stale blood that filled the air and I was able to realize what the smell was from earlier. The smell I was so used to tasting and feeling.... it was death.
I opened my eyes and I was on some sort of slab, cold and silver just like the metal cage. I could not move or if I did pain shot through my limbs and ribs. I growled softly just looking around. I was too weak to move. The pain was also too great to try to push through. I noticed silver hooks on my limbs as if binding me to the slab and one in my rib holding me down. I huffed lifting my head only to notice the room was silver itself and the walls were lined with metal. It was like one giant cage.
In front of me creatures hung from the ceiling in rows all dead. That was were the scent of death was from. The creatures who had died back there in the dirt due to the paws of another.
This only made me question why I was here. I did not fall like the male had done. I had won. Was I not their savior? Their champion? I felt anger fill me once again as I went to move but something held me down. I glanced up to see the dark skinned man place his hand upon my shoulder. I snarled trying to claw at him or bite him but my head would not move nor would my paws. I protested against him only for him to stick me with something sharp again.
This time it did not put me out though. I watched him walk away and leave me there on that cold slab. My head began to fog over and my body began to feel as if it were not mine. I let out a low growl and twisted slightly until I felt the pain from the hook in my side no longer effect me. With a huff and a mighty heave I ripped the hook out of my side and freed my paws. I jumped down from the cold slab only to move slowly through the dripping bodies above. I listened to my own blood drip from my side. I left a bloody paw print trail as I moved forward wanting to get away, to be free.
I passed doors and more cages of dead creatures or dying creatures. I did not stop to help any of them for I was in no shape too help them. This place was full of death and destruction. If they did make it out they would probably be like me and end up dead soon after. I was weak not too long into my walk and felt my world slipping from me. I was ready at that time to just lay down and give up. To let the humans win but just as I was loosing spirit a sound drifted to my ears. A faint cackling. It was unlike the human's cackle as I had heard earlier but something else.
My ears perked forward and I pushed through a set of doors with my paws, leaving red smears as I went. Behind those doors were two creatures that I had never laid eyes on before. Right in front of me there was a cackling dog like creature chewing on a bone. It looked like an ordinary bone until I got a closer look only to discover that bone was his own leg. The flesh looked as if it was dripping off his body and yet he did not seem to care. He did not look as if he was in pain either. He looked all merry chewing on his own detached foot. This was not right to me and I thought as if I was dreaming but a voice called to me drawing my attention from the hound to a cat like creature.
Flesh was dripping off her as well and huge chunks missing exposing her muscles. "Welcome to hell kitty" The female stated lifting her head from her sleeping position and looking at me. "You are probably freaking out in your mind... am I dreaming? This is not real! It can't be. Right?" She asked, amusement filling her voice.
"There is no way you two are alive" I stated sitting down at her. Both their pelts were grey in color and their tails were just down to the skeleton. No flesh at all or decaying skin.
"Aren't we alive though? I am talking to you am I not?" She asked a chuckle escaping her before a deep yawn. "You shouldn't be so quick to judge kitty. Have you not looked at yourself? Since when have your stripes always been grey and your eyes red?" She questioned causing me to pause. I did not look like them, no I was myself! This caused me to turn around and find the nearest reflective surface which just happened to be a blood puddle. I glanced down into the liquid only to see what she was talking about. My features had changed. My eyes darkened to red as the blood that covered my pelt. My white fur was stained and had a faint greyish color to it. What threw me off was the purplish smoke I saw around me just there. That wasn't there before.
"What...happened?" I asked turning back to the cat since the dog was clearly not fully there nor did he even notice I was there.
"You are of the undead now. You were once alive and now you are dead or in a state of death...." She stated seeming to snuggle down in her own decaying fur as if she was about to go back to sleep. "Wait! I am not dead!" I snarled jumping at her, pinning her to the floor. My claws easily shredded the skin on her shoulders as I held her down. "Calm down kitty...You are among friends" She chuckled softly but nervously. I saw the fear in her eyes and I do have to admit it felt wonderful having that control. "Your are stronger than us therefore you are not the same. You are not death...No. They did not do it. They could not have!" She spoke only to freak out and try to claw her way out from under me but I did not let her. Something seemed to have just struck a cord with her causing her to panic.
"Do what cat?" I asked growling, my canines bared. I listened to her breaths and saw them make her chest heave up and down.
She spoke one word that changed my life forever, changed my name forever. I never knew that one word had so much impact on me and would make me who I am today.
"Immortality".
I ended up questioning her all night that night not letting her flee like I know she desperately wanted to. I did not let her run nor did I let her hide. I became in control of her as her smugness turned into fear and terror of me. It was not hard to sway her to helping me. I only caved to her wishes and instincts to kill. I promised the undead cat enough food to feed her happy fat belly and let her rest for the rest of her immortal existence.
The dog who was chewing on his own body parts seemed to obey fairly easily. All I had to do was offer him a new leg or bone to chew on and he perked right up. He was not right in the head. Always laughing and muttering strange things about time. He was an insane soul and I used that to my advantage. I had given them new names instead of the numbers they had from the humans. The female I named "Slayer" because of her job to me plus she was pretty nasty when it came to killing. The dog I named "Ludicrous" only because it fit his insane behavior and state of mind.

After I made deals with them I decided we were going for revenge. We were going to kill the humans who did this to us and take out the dark skinned man who treated me as some sort of prize and pet. I was not to be tamed and I was going to prove to him just that. We walked through that building and slaughtered all who were in our way. At first it was strictly humans but Slayer and Ludicrous took to their own actions. They began killing everything alive. I did not stop them. I simply sat back and watched the bright aura's around the living creatures dim and float towards me as they died. I was not sure what was going on when it happened the first few times but with every new kill I felt stronger.
I felt as if my body was rejuvenated and I was able to move again without pain. My muscles were no longer sore and thus I was no longer weak. With each floating aura that would combine into the mist that surrounded me I was whole again. "Souls" I remember whispering. They were what was making me feel good and strong. They were my life source now.

Like I said before. I am known by many names. Death does not follow me though. I lead it. I direct who dies and who lives. I am the king of your soul. I am the king of all souls. If I claim you beware. You will be visited by Ludicrous first and marked. Once you are marked Slayer is after you. That's when you better run. She doesn't play nice. Once Slayer has her sights on you, you are dead. She get's your body and Ludicrous gets your bones. I then get your soul. Call me death if you will or call me your nightmare. I do not care. Just know somewhere out here in the world I am sitting in my home crossing out names. Is your name on my list? Could you be my next victim? Only time will tell...

A little bit about him for now:

- He lives off of the souls he steals from others.
- He lives through is victims memories because he is slowly forgetting his own.
- He has a pretty big ego.
- He is involved in a trio. He has two helpers that help him get the souls of his chosen victims
