Seikan is a cocky, stubborn girl who doesn't believe in things such as gods, immortals, demons, angels... and so forth. Unless solid proof can be provided to her, she feels that any and all myths are nothing more than stories. Even if provided with some sort of evidence, she will proceed to reject it anyhow, and follow up with mocking or belittling anyone who claims to be anything previously mentioned. Because of her attitude, she has a tendency to annoy many creatures. She doesn't seem to mind or care, and has proven to be quite insensitive towards the feelings of others. On the other hand, Seikan gets offended rather easily. She doesn't take kindly to even the mildest of insults, and will go on tangents until she's able to calm herself down.
Somehow, Seikan manages to get herself in life threatening situations on a regular basis. She's managed to get away with all her limbs in tact so far, despite her means of escape. When running away, she sometimes gets herself cornered, caught up in trees (it sucks to not have wings), or when it comes down to it, she'll just run over the edge of a cliff. Apparently for her, falling several hundred feet is better than being someone's lunch. She's not exactly a coward, she'll only run from fights that she knows she can't win. When it comes to creatures smaller than herself, she won't hesitate to give them a trashing. Her reckless behavior has led her to be a solitary animal, despite the natural instinct of her species to have at least one companion nearby.
Seikan doesn't know or remember that she is in fact a supernatual creature herself. She is one of very few Jinx left in the world. As their name implies, Jinx are cursed beings, bringing bad luck to anyone who attempts to pursue them. There are methods that can be used in order to catch a jinx. Seikan also doesn't know that she has lived several past lives. She is killed in a freak accident shortly after she finds out she's one of these Jinx. That is, if someone can convince the stubborn griffin that she is one. One hundred years must pass before she is reincarnated. When she is reborn, she has no memories of her past lives, what she truly is, or any of the people she knew.
The griffin's life is nothing but a vicious, endless cycle. However, she's enjoying every minute of it.

Seikan is likely the name that the griffin chose to dub herself as. During a few of her lifetimes, her title has lengthened, likely without her knowing. Lilitu is a Sumerian name meaning "of the night." Ananta is a Hindi myth name meaning "infinite" or "without end." Her full name could roughly be translated into "Seikan of the night without end", or "Seikan of the infinite night".
