Story:
Hadume was just a newborn pup when his family was brutally slaughtered by a rival pack. His brother managed to protect him by hiding him underneath a shrub out of harms way. He could only watch as his parents and his pack was murdered, never uttering a sound crying silently. When the fight had finished and nightfall fell, Hadume fell asleep next to his dying brother, Hadasu, until the end. He was found later half-starved by Kirureru, a desert Haruba. She tended to him until he was well enough to stand on his own. He was greatful to her for burying his family as he was not strong enough to do the task himself.
As he grew older he learned how to hunt or steal food he needed to survive whenever food became scarce. Hadume came across an alley while he was strolling the streets of town to find two other ganging up on a smaller kid much like himself. Getting angry remembering his own experiences he charged in without a second thought and beat the crap out of the other two. Suffering a few scrapes himself he helped the smaller kid up. From that day on he vowed to protect those unfortunate to protect themselves. He taught the kid his own street smarts and ways of stealing before moving on. At the age when he was able to work instead of just stealing he worked at a bar as a bouncer for a few months before just becoming a Bodyguard for Hire. He met up again by chance with Kirureru when she came to the very bar he worked at. They talked for a bit before Kirureru asked if he wanted to join her on a heist. Hadume thought about it before realizing that he himself couldn't let go of his street ways. So the two worked together , Hadume distracting the females while Kirureru distracted the males. Each working off of the other for a few days a year. He still works at the bar on occasions and on every anniversary of his family's death he pays a visit to his old pack grounds to pay his respects.

Detailed past Story:
Hadume romped around on his brother, Hadasu, as he slept in the grass. Sunlight beams dancing through large grey storm clouds. It was a cool day with a breeze that continuously blew with little to no pause.
"Hey, big brother?" Hadume pounced on top of Hadasu causing the older Obsideon to give a grunt. "When will I be big and strong like you?" He flopped down over his brothers head to peer into his closed eyes.
Hadasu opened his red eyes only to be greeted with small green eyes and a black furry face with a green tuff of hair peering at him. The largest grin plastered on his little brothers face. "Let's see, when you get older." He rolled onto his side letting the last warm rays catch his fur to warm him up. His sandy brown pelt, much lighter than Hadume's own black pelt, glimmered in the sunlight.
Hadume frowned as he fell off his brother. Then he shrugged it off as he ran around to slip between his brothers front paws. "I hope to be like you when I get older." His small black and white bone patterned body stuck out from his brothers sand brown and gold mane.
At this Hadasu smiled and pulled his brother closer to him. "Well I'm glad to hear that bro. But What I really want is for you to be yourself always." He stood up at the first few drops of rain and shook away the dirt and grass on his pelt. "I like you better that way, because no one really wants to be a scruffy looking thing like me." He playfully rubbed his brothers mane as Hadume smacked his paw away. "Come on, time to go back before the storm comes." He trotted away with his brother padding alongside him back to their packs' den.

The storm clouds were thick in the sky when they finally returned but the storm was just passing overhead thankfully. Hadasu sensed something wrong before coming withing eyeshot of the den. "Hadume, remember how you told me how good at hide and seek you were?" He stopped and smiled down at his brother through his skull mask. Hadume grinned through his own small skull mask, tail wagging frantically as he nodded. "I think we should go ahead and see just how good you are, though try to avoid the den. We wouldn't want anyone else seeing you either ok."
"Ok, big brother. But I'm warning you I'm the best there's ever been." With that he romped away.
Hadasu ran into the pack grounds to see a sight that made him want to throw up. Crimson stained the ground where most of his pack members now lay slaughtered. Hearing the sound of battle going on the other side of the den he rushed through to see his parents and a few surviving pack mates fighting members from another Obsideon pack. Seeing his mother backed against a tree fighting two others he bounded over the brush and managed to grab hold of the closest one. Throwing him to the ground he finished its life. His mother finished off the other one but not without getting a serious wound herself. "MOTHER!" Hadasu was by her side in a flash. "Mother are you o-" he never managed to get the last words out, he could only watch as life from her eyes faded.
Tears had to wait for later as he heard a howl ring out from his father. He turned to see his father's limp body fall to the ground. He didn't have much warning when he was jumped from behind. He fought his attacker off and ended its life much like the last one. The fighting was coming to an end as Hadasu watched his pack mates chase away the remaining enemies. Many carried serious wounds themselves some barely hanging onto life. Hadasu heard a small faint whimper come from a bush nearby, stalking slowly towards the sound he was met by his little brother. Hadume was shaking like a leaf, paralyzed with fear written all over his face. "Hadume, what are you doing here? I told you to stay away from the den." Seeing the tears running down his brothers face made a knot form at the pit of his stomach. It wasn't the right thing to say and he knew it.
"I, I waited for you to come find me but I was bored waiting. I Just- I just wanted to see what was taking you so long." His voice shook at he tried to tell his story. "Are mom and dad. . . are they. . ."
"Shhh. Yes Hadume mom and dad are no longer with us. But it's going to be ok, I'm here and I won't let anything happen to you I promise." He held his brother for a few seconds as he cried. "Now stay here while I see to the rest of the pack ok. Can you do that for me?" Hadume nodded and wiped away his tears. That's when he heard a strangled yelp come from his pack. Turning once more to see a crumpled body fall to the ground with another standing over it. Seeing it stand there gloating over the kill Hadasu ran into the fight only to realize too soon that it was a trap. Three others jumped him and that was the last thing he saw. The other Obsideon pack rummaged through the battleground finding anything worth taking. Before long everyone left.
Hadume watched as his brother was killed. He cryed silently to himself but stayed where he was as told. He waited until it was clear before dragging his paws over to where his brother lay. He cuddled against his cold body but found a little warmth from the wind there. "H-Hadasu? Brother?" He let his tears flow again, when he heard a low guttural breath come from Hadasu. "Brother!"
"Ha-Hadume, is that you little bro?" His voice broke as the blood clotted his throat. Hadume merely responded by licking his brother's nose. "Listen bro. . . stay strong ok. . . promise me," his words were coming slower and slower now. "promise you will live on. . . ok little bro. For me and the pack." With that Hadume listened as his brother's last breath faded away. He stayed next to his brother until sleep finally found him.
***
Hadume woke one day to the smell of food. He opened his eyes to see a desert haruba cooking something over an open fire. Shaking his head to clear away the fuzz he felt something warm surrounding him, a trench coat. He remembered dreaming about sleeping beside his brother, but knew it was only a dream.
"Oh I see your finally awake. I thought you might never wake up." He heard a gentle voice say. He remembered that there was another there. The haruba made her way over to him with a bowl in her paws. "You must be starving, eat up its rabbit soup."
"Where am I, who are you?" He asked as he ate.
"Well your outside of what I’m guessing use to be your pack's denning area. And as for me, name is Kirureru. Or as many refer to me as a thief." She calmly put out the fire and made herself a bowl. "The way I see it though kid-"
"My name is Hadume, not kid." He whispered.
Kirureru paused and smiled. "Ok then Hadume, from what it looks like, you're the last survivor of your pack. Am I right?"
As he finished the last of the soup he held back the shivers from that night. "Yes." Then remembering that he needed to take care of the rest he bolted out the mouth of the cave they were in.
Kirureru seeing the scared look on the pups face felt horrible at even bringing up something like that so soon on the kid. At seeing him bolt however she set her bowl down and followed him outside.
Hadume froze on the hill leading to his old den. There he saw mounds of dirt, each with a large rock at the tops. Kirureru soon stood next to him.
"I figured they should have a proper burial at least. I also figured the one I found you sleeping next to meant something to you. So his is at the front, along with your parents."
"You did this for my family?" He paused as he felt his thorat tighten, "Thank you. But-but how did you know which ones were my parents?" He turned to look at the haruba question in his green eyes.
"From your scent, I followed it to them and back to you. I could tell you walked between them before winding back next to your brother." She sighed, "You were thinking about dying with them weren't you? You wanted to starve yourself to death."
Hadume sat next to his family's graves. "Yes, but I made a promise to my brother that I would keep living. I didn't know what else to do without them." He shivered again holding back the tears. "I’m weak, not like my brother, Hadasu. He was strong, he would have known what to do."
Kirureru placed a paw on his shoulder. "Your stronger than you think. But your brother is right, move on with your life, for your sake and for them." With that she left Hadume to his own fate.
Hadume left his home after a week before setting out on a journey much like Kirureru. He managed to run into Kirureru and her family later on, and was welcomed into the family with open arms. Now he travels with Kirureru, sometimes helping her in her thieving, other times getting her out of trouble that becomes too much for her. The two are faithful companions when together and even when he isn't traveling with her Hadume turns back to his home town to meet up with the friends from other packs he had. Every now and then he still try's to find out which pack killed his family and for what reason. But he never thought about revenge.
