Once a Goddess, Geist used to rule over the sky, controling the dark louds before a storm. However, one day, she was forced to fall from her power and somehow ended up in the demon realm. She couldn't tell you how she ended up there, as in her fall, her memory was glitched; and with the added pressure from the demons forcing their magic on her, she lost even more of her memory. When she was down, they put power limiters on her, which decreased her powers, among other things, to almost non existent; the rings that adorn her body are these limiters. After several beatings and ungoldly punishments, the demons were rather sucessful in draining her of hope and any thoughts of escape, eventually leading to her acceptance of her fate. This acceptance made her canidate for some demonic doings, of which have drained her even more of her will and fight to live; with the power limits not helping this and causing her to become thin and weak. With this new 'servitude', she began to forget her old life, little by llittle, eventually coming to call herself 'gloom' for, she figured she was anything but everything that wasn't gloomy, dark or depressing.
Her brother, Beyu, who was also taken by these demons, stil has hope for her, and intends on escaping his prison and take her with him. Though, by time he does, she's already fforgotten who he is.
On approach, Gesit seems, as her nick name implies, Gloomy. Her spirits are down, and she never smiles, her eyes only reflrecting pain if you ever get them to look at you. She desipes what she is, and hates how she is starving, despite always eating. The hunger will never leave her, as for some twisted reason, she cannot die of hunger. She is immortal, but to an extent, thanks to her limiters. Though, she has never attempted suicide, she thinks about it often; but would probably never gain the will or power to take her own life. If you were to approach her, she wouldn't make eye contact and probably wouldn't speak. Very much broken, she won't resist any forcings or leadings one might impose upon her. She is obediant, but is usally weak in her motions, and so often gets beaten for being 'slow' or 'not quick to respond'. She doesn't like the pain she gets from the beatings, but won't resist, and sometimes won't even whimper at the lashings. Some say she is immune to the pain, others say she's just too far gone to even realize what's being inflicted upon her.
To an extent, both are true. Though she can feel pain, she is resistant and numbb to a lot of it. And although her mind has given up on hope, a part of her still hopelessly wiats for it to come back; but it is often ignored and she instead slips into a more 'coma' like state, letting her mind detach itself from her body so she seems unaware and 'not there' when things are being done to her. If ever taken out of this sort of surrounding, it is presumed she would slowly gain back what was lost of herself; though, she probably would reject such 'new' surroundings simply because of how long she has been in the demon's underground dungeon.
