Gardrofa is a silent, but loyal and unwavering spectre, and in all actuality, two of mind and one of body. One mind is Gardrofa, the female, the other is her mate, Hamskerpir.
When the Gods were slowly forgotten, and all but the foremost of the pantheons were struggling to survive, the least remembered did what was necessary to go on. When Hamskerpir and Gardrofa saw both were fading from existence, they decided living as one was better than dying apart, and together, they melded into a spectre of their former glory, becoming something new.
Something unholy, but something better.
Now, they even pace Sleipnir as they race across the skies, scattering stars in their wake, trailing fog and mist from their nostrils, clouds following their manes and tails like banners made of evening storms.
