The demon was seated in a chair near the middle of the room. He seemed to be staring at you, though it was quite hard to tell behind his foggy, cracked glasses. A scarf was covering his neck and mouth, hiding any facial expressions. He'd shuffle uncomfortably for a moment, getting to a more comfortable position, his dragon wings stretching out and dropping down at his sides. It was almost as if he was waiting for you to sit down...
"Well for starters I guess you could call me a demon. Though I prefer to not refer to myself as such, I'd like to be thought of as something outside of the norm and the crowd, ya'know? You hear demon and you automatically think evil, devil spawn. Well you're half correct, I guess you could call me evil, but I'm no mass murderer or anything. Sure I've killed, but it was in those rare cases. When I couldn't get myself out of the jam I worked into. I'd rather kill than be captured."
With a forward motion of his head, his cracked glasses would slide to the tip of his nose, revealing black sockets with glowing white orbs. It was hard to determine any kind of emotion, but if you studied close enough you could pick up the faint traces of amusement and a raging anger. He'd study you for a moment before tilting his head back, glasses sliding back into place.
"I got into too much trouble. I'm not going to go into details, because that's damn personal. But my punishment? I was sentenced to a thousand years of guarding a specific mortal until they dispelled me or they died. And hell, sometimes the people I get stuck with don't want me to leave. A demon protecting them, being able to do things they couldn't? Why would you want to give that up! Plus, ya'know, I'm extremely good looking."
He'd lean back in his chair, starting to laugh from behind his covered mouth.
