Species: Flame/Semi-Human

Appearance: Has two forms - semi-human and Flame. In semi-human form, he looks mostly human (hence the semi), with the only noticable difference being an exposed ribcage (no skin on the front, just bone and hollow space where internal organs would normally be. This openness is only on his right side; the left appears normal. His back is covered by a thick layer of skin). His eyes are blue, but change to an orange when he is in Flame form. He has dark brown, close to black hair that parts like a curtain just over his eyes; it is extremely unruly but not curly.

In his semi-human form, he is 5' 11" tall and wears a faded black t-shirt to cover his open torso. He usually wears some sort of ripped jeans, the most common colors being blue and black. His skin is pale, to the point where his friends/acquaintances joke that he is a vampire.

In Flame form, he has a mostly human-like frame, but is a bit taller. In this form, he stands at 7 foot even. His height surpasses his wingspan by at least half a foot, enabling him to turn corners and make sharp turns quickly and effortlessly in air. His wings, which are a black color with light orange swirls spaced unevenly about them, are much like that of a bird - and the reason he is known as Phoenix. His skin and hair are the stark opposite of his other form, being grey and blond, respectively. In this form, his ribcage isn't exposed, but there is a large, somewhat faded scar running across his stomach. There is another of the same color hidden under his shoulder-long hair at the nape of his neck. Both scars are of undetermined origin. His hair, which I mentioned above, is messy, much like in his other form. It is sharp at the ends but slightly wavy, as though made of immobile fire. He wears a long cloth jacket with torn edges, usually opting to keep it buttoned halfway. In some instances, it is left open or buttoned up entirely. His pants are basically the same style as those in his first form. Jeans, ripped at the thigh and unevenly cut, varying between blue or black colors.

Strengths/Abilities: In S-H form, he is relatively average, with no special abilities other than being able to understand many different languages instantly. In Flame form, he has two distinct abilities, the first being the power to envelop himself in fire that only he can control. It can be doused easily, however, putting him at a heavy disadvantage to those who harness water. The second, and more useful ability of the two is that of being able to make weapons out of his body and surroundings.
Weaknesses: In S-H form, he is weak in many ways. If someone exposes his ribcage to the sunlight, it causes acute pain and temporary immobilization. It is simple to take advantage of this weakness, seeing as though one would only have to slash through his shirt with a blade to activate it. As a result, Blaze is very protective of his torso - especially around those he doesn't know.

Bio: Woke up in his Flame state dazed and with no recollection of any events that had happened to him before his awakening. Looked down at the scar on his chest, realized he wasn't normal, and passed out. It was only when he came to in his semi-human form that he decided to find out what had happened to him. He harnessed the ability to shift between his two forms fluidly, and from that day forward patrolled the area he called home; somehow he knew what lands were his and which were not friendly. He is currently trying to piece together the fragments of memory he was left with when he woke up injured - and whether or not he has always been a Flame.
Anything Else?: He may have been a human before he awoke as a Flame, and is always trying to find answers.
