The Seal has been Broken

"Oh Tempest, still obsessed with those maps and talking to yourself? How adorable~"

"You're at it again, Dusk... If you have to keep sneaking to the Rising Castle to see him, go up to him and talk already instead of sitting on my back like a lovesick puppy dog!"

If the one speaking had been a mere underling, the Demon Lord would have given no second glance and just destroy them, taking in their leftover energy to gain their power. But no, this was just the motorcycle talking, the annoying piece of machinery that he called his ride... To others he was the Demonrider, but only he had the pleasure of calling him Behemoth.... Although he would have rather called him 'Annoying hunk of machinery that I would rather blow up for my pleasure because he is incredibly annoying'. A long nickname, but it showed just how they got along.

"Shut up Behemoth... I'm sick of your whining!" Dusk kicked the machine's exhaust pipe, causing all sorts of curses to fly from his head from the telepathic motorcycle.

"Agh! It's not like you'll be caught! I'm the one always getting blown up or slashed to bits by that blasted black and gold knight!" Again with the complaints. Dusk rubbed his forehead, wings encasing him to provide some sort of sanctuary. Kain, of course... That Royal Knight was a thorn in his side, always judging him to be like any of the other demons. He walked a rather grey line, but only a few of those immortals actually cared to see it.

The castle was a formidable fortress, contrary to its name. The cliff he was on overlooked it and only there was he safe from the patrols, as they, for some reason, never came this far. Sliding off of Behemoth, the winged demon walked to the edge, the wind rustling through his feathers. It was like a game, sneak into the castle at times and watch Tempest, waiting to be caught and escaping before they could destroy him. The relationship between the two, he wanted to know exactly what it was now. Saving Tempest from Zain's ultimate attack proved that he cared for him but...

His wings snapped shut and he dove off of the cliff, only for his four wings to open, carrying him towards the castle silently on the wind. The slight hum of Behemoth's engine was all that echoed in the silence that fell.

In every realm, there are whispers of the group of seven, the seven demons that represents the sins, Envy, Lust, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, and Greed. These hushed whisperings told of how these demons, who can take the shape of anything they desire, were vicious and destroyed all who stood in their way. They had come into existence when their specific emotions overtook their bodies, changing them and corroding their minds. Or at least, that is what the stories usually say. Many say that it's just a legend that has been passed down for many generations. Others tell of a group of thirteen heroes called the Royal Circle had defeated all of them and locked them away in sealed dimensions of their own makings. Not many know if this was true or not, as they have not been seen.

However, what is not known is how one of the Sins had done his own thing away from the group, a renegade in his own right. Dusk, as he preferred to be called by that than his Sin of Gluttony or his title as Beelzebub, despised the others of his group and was nearly always missing from their meetings. They knew what he was like and due to his reclusive nature and boisterous attitude, they in turn despised him.

The only reason why Dusk had become a Sin in the first place had been because his overwhelming desire to become powerful caused him to do anything to reach that goal. It was never enough to him; he wanted to become so strong that all those who had looked down and teased him for being weak would be no match for him, but only those who could match his strength would he fight. His pride never allowed him to strike down those weaker than him. He consumed power wherever he found it and it drove him to become a sinful creature of Gluttony.

Many years later, the veil lifted from his eyes, having spent a century with his fellow Sins and their overwhelming cruelty. Their attitudes and personalities began to grate on his nerves; while they craved destruction, he simply wanted to have power and the rift between him and they grew. Although Zain, the Sin of Pride, was not as bad as the others, he felt as if they were all different due to how they became the Sins. Then a group of immortals that called themselves the Royal Circle appeared to stop their rampaging.
Here was where he ran into the leader of the group, Tempest.

But perhaps the story of unexpected attraction between the two is for another time.

The Sin of Gluttony has mellowed down over the centuries, having escaped the sealed dimension he was locked in due to a tiny crack that he spotted. Unknown to the Royal Circle, he laid low and discovered life had become different than what he remembered, and his lust for power lessened due to his absence. He began thinking about how he had been the last one to be sealed and wondered what had become of the leader, but perhaps he wouldn't have to look much farther.

Due to being sealed away, the time spent in the other dimension had caused him to revert to an animal form, unable to use his energy to stay in his natural state, just like the other Demon Lords. In this form, the use of his beloved weapons was taken away from him, and his third eye which gave him even more power was hidden by a small purple mask. However, this could not contain him for long, for he developed the use to call upon his weapon's magical energies and use his Jinx horn to focus the blasts himself.

His coveted demonic motorcycle, known to others as the Demonrider, but to him as Behemoth, had not been sealed away with him and had gone into hiding, waiting for the day to be reunited again. Of course this would not be a happy reunion, as the motorcycle had a tendency to drive most of his previous riders insane due to his telepathic connection with them. He complains a lot.
