It is the year 2042, Earth has undergone much change but you can still see some Old Earth structures from before the war. Everyday at work I can still see the Golden Gate bridge although I doubt anyone would want to cross it.

Most of the Earth now is either forest or desert but I'm not complaining. I get to work with some of the galaxy's greatest minds in high tech air condition labs. Also I was not around before the war so there is nothing for me to miss anyway.

With a new world come new diseases, thankfully most of my work are the simple things. Actually I am more likely to get people coming in with injuries from fallen debris. Some junk left over from the war still orbits the Earth and every once in a while it falls and creates quite a bit of chaos.
