Divino is from a rather upper-class family of Jinxes. He was always the quiet one and enjoyed reading more than anything. Divino became a very bright child, but always kept to himself. When he was finally of age, he left the family home to be on his own. Now, being an Arctic Jinx, he was very used to the cold, so it did not bother him as he journeyed. After some time, he met Jynxie. It took another long while for him to gain her trust and friendship, and even longer to win over her heart. After almost a year and a half, they became mates for life.
They lived fine, but one day, Divino found a box under a pile of snow as he was on an excursion. Curious, he dug it up, only to reveal that it was a black and blue Wintercursed box. Once realizing what it was, he carried it back to their nest. Divino thought somebody had lost it, but since there was nobody out, he didn't know who. Jynxie insisted that he keep it; It was worth a lot. However, within mere days, Divino accidentally opened the box, changing his extremely pale, blue coat into a midnight black with blue accents. Immediately, the air got much cooler as Jynxie continued to watch his transformation. After the light died down, she could see that he had grown taller, his wings and horn had grown bigger, and his coat was actually much more soft. Divino was frightened to a standstill for a moment before Jynxie nestled into him. Smiling, Divino wrapped his wings around her, hoping she wouldn't be too chilled by his new body.
After that, Divino and Jynxie moved into the Darkwood Forest to make sure that she did not freeze. Luckily, Divino's new form was cold enough that he could repel most heat, so he stayed fine. He could also cool Jynxie down as the weather became much more humid.
