Appearance: His form is not consistent nor is it the same to everyone that sees him. Some see him as a child, hopelessly lost and confused. Others as an elderly scholar. And even some see him as inhuman. There will always be some consistencies between the forms, but otherwise it is how the person views him and can change just as views change. He does not choose to be this way; it's simply how it is. His true form has never been documented as far as he's aware, and has eventually faded from his own mind. After all, there are more important things to pursue than remembering your own appearance.

Personality: While Alexander knows a great deal, he prefers to keep that knowledge to himself. Not to be selfish, but out of fear. Sharing his knowledge has led him to be injured, his documents to be destroyed, works to be erased...He doesn't want it to happen again. He's grown wary of others, regardless of their intentions due to this and does not give trust easily.
Despite this though, he's always curious to learn more. He may not trust you right away, but sharing new knowledge with him will greatly improve his mood. He won't stray far out of his comfort zone with strangers, but with those he trusts, he'd travel the world with.
Alexander has a fair amount of magic up his sleeves, but he will never use it to harm another, even if they have wronged him. Perhaps he is too caring. Too kind. But he has a strong belief that his magic should only be used to protect, not to harm. Alexander does not forget, and sometimes may have trouble to forgive, but he tries his hardest.
