"Dictator, sir."
The dark figure huddled by the fire did not reply immediately, instead slowly sitting upright, his gaze tied to the flickering flames. A few minutes passed, as if he already knew what his worker was going to say, and was contemplating the next move...no, not contemplating. The whole plan was already set and prepared YEARS before it had even begun; in a way, it had by now been burned into his mind so fiercely he knew anything that anyone was going to do at any time...
It was frightening, the amount of information and intelligence he possessed. He easily could have been a great business partner to anyone, or perhaps just someone to prey from, but he wasn't the type of person to be led on. Dictator was cold, ruthless, and he would use his political power to gain even more of a hold on his ever growing nation. His plan was perfect, and soon, he'd have access to a whole different world. After all, he had only selected the best scientists who would have the luxury of living in his dormitory area and not be victimized by the number of riots that frequently occurred.
Pah! Rebels. They were all fools. Once the scientists finished up what needed to be done, he would truly have the world in the palms of his hands, ready to be molded. It was so simple, and so near to completion. They would build the portal, after all, they had the cooperation of his "mistress"...another petty being who thought they could own him. Year by year he changed owners once he had taken what he needed from the previous. The current one supplied him with life- life that was not made up of pixels, or trapped inside a meager computer. No, she was a passport to a whole new world that managed the 'computers'.
Her cells, merged with their new creation, would open the portal to that world from which she came...and not only would he have access to all computers, but so much more. There would be supplies not found in Mistica, new potential allies that he could make use of before he ended up betraying, and so many new places to conquer and add to his growing country. The political strength he could gain! It was not a dream, it was reality.
Dictator stood up, his form slightly illuminated by the flames.
"Bring the test subjects in."
As his servant bowed his head and scurried off, the Ahbruis returned his gaze to the fire. It was so captivating...so destructive. Such a wonderful element, for it was no difficult task to gain control of it when young, and an even easier task to use against one's enemies. Once it's free and growing, it is just a lovely moment to sit back and applaud it as it does its dark work. Yes, this new world would be unlocked, and with the power of everything he had in hand, he would conquer it. Then, once he gained control of this foreign land, he would use his power to finish the business he had never been able to complete-
He would dictate Mistica, and all would be under him.
