Luck is a lady whose smile is as cold as a stone She'll bring you things, many things you might never have known But when your die is cast she'll have the final laugh at you She'll lock you in a duel, where you come out the fool

Deck is a fairly quiet and independent girl, mostly keeping to herself. She lives a day to day life, working as a card dealer at a nearby casino. Life to her is simply a game, and can be played however one chooses, no matter how delusional. For you see, any family she speaks of, any relationship, is all in her mind, or rather in her pocket, consisting of a deck of cards.
When she was a child, her parents never had much time for her, simply giving her trivial games and decks of cards. Deck grew fond of these, especially the cards; so much potential with something so simple. It tested her mind, even without others present, and she grew to see these cards as her own family over time.
Even with this 'problem', she let herself gain a relationship outside her fantasy world. Once he found that all this family talk was over some cards, he left her, not wanting to be with someone caught in this illusion. Not wanting to realize what she was doing was unhealthy, she actually continued the relationship through her cards, becoming infatuated with the King of Clubs.
Besides her condition, she's fairly normal at a glance, and prefers not to talk about her home life anymore. One could say she even personifies a deck of cards, with how thin and frail she seems, yet her mind is more developed than her features. She prefers simplicity and the little things, and though hard to anger, she seems to be easily irritable, but needs little to keep herself happy.
