History:
Laura was born into a clan that lived in the wilds. 'Sons' and 'Daughters' of the goddess Artemis. Laura was the only one in the clan that was gifted with the ability to speak with animals in all tongues as well as having a natural calming aura.
As an initiation to the clan, a coming of age trial, Laura was to kill on of the illusive white sabre tooth's which inhabited the semi-ethereal forest she loomed in. Laura could not, and in failing, and her own shame, fled - fled with one of the sabres.
Laura fell into the circus, where she lived and healed her heart calmly until the fateful day that her parents beaconed. They were dying and Laura returned from the love she forever bore them.
When she arrived home, her mother has already passed, her father in rage with her for abandoning the clan and allowing her mother to live out her life blaming herself for Laura's leaving, killed her companion liger. Laura ended up killing her father, and once again fleeing back to the CIrcus, hoping to fall into the arms of the man she loved there.
She found no arms to cradle her, no light to guide her, only he with another woman, and an abandonment that she could only take as punishment for her own sins.
