Albert is a rambunctious child, who loves to make jokes and takes nothing seriously. He slacks off daily and refuses to perform any of his royal chores other than playing various instruments, such as the violin and piano, or painting. However, despite a rebel, Albert yearns to be accepted as he is instead of being worshiped due to his title. He is a man of power, grace and devotion, despite only 17 years old. He will stop it nothing to save those who are now in peril.
Physical Appearance:
In terms of physical appearance, Chandelier is equally abnormal as he is mundane. He has the typical stature of a teenaged boy, long and lanky. But, his shoulders are far from broad. He stands at his full height at 5'6 and weighs approximately 135 pounds. His white hair is cut in a short bob, leaving only
long bangs, the longest strands are on his right side. His eyes are a bluish,
almost violet, color.
Attire:
Albert wears a strange array of outfits. When he is cross dressing he wears a navy blue dress with a rose pattern with light blue fringe on the bottom edges complete with wrapped bows that act as a bodice. On the right side of the dress is a black crinoline cage that wraps around the back of the dress. Around his neck, to cover the chandelier shaped birthmark, he wears a light blue frilled neck brace. Around his shoulders he wears a light gray fringed shawl with white feathers on the ends. On his hands he wears black gloves. Around his head he wears a dark blue bonnet with a rose pattern, two rows of light cyan fringe and long white hair extensions. On his feet he wears deep blue heeled boots. In his hand he carries a gold handled dagger with red jewels and roses embedded into it. As a male, he wears a black suit with light blue swirls and a white, lacy, and billowy undershirt. He adorns puffy black dress pants and has black buckled shoes on. Around his neck he wears a pair of reading glasses on a blue chain.
Story:
Chandelier is also known as Baron Von Albert Daneder. He, a witty man of 1800th century England, spends his time wasting away his room painting. Unlike most Barons, he is not uptight or snobby; in fact he is quite the opposite. He enjoys spending time with the "common" folk and will take time out of his day to have a laugh with them.
However, such actions are frowned upon by his mother, the duchess, and third in line to the throne of England. She believes he should only associate with those of a "higher class".
Despite wishing to please his mother, he goes against her wishes and continues to live life as if he was a peasant. He despises the royal end of society and refuses to be part of something that causes others to feel inferior.
His stance is only taken further when meets the lovely Charlotte Marrin. He falls deeply in love with her and plans to run away with her.
But his plans are foiled when word travels around local villages of his elopement. Now not only is he a laughing stock, but a disgrace to his family.
The royal guards are ordered to hunt and kill him, in a desperate attempt to
save his family's reputation.
Due to a recognizable chandelier shaped birthmark on his neck, he could easily be picked out of a crowd.
To hide his shame and protect his identity, he dons female clothing and creates
a new persona for himself, known as Lorelei. Due to having a rather feminine
face and higher voice, he believes he can fool those around him. He believes
with his new identity, that he and Charlotte can still have a joyous life
together far away from his nosy family members.
But things go array when a mysterious plague rolls in. Those around him choke
and die, only to have their bodies reanimate and continue to walk amongst him.
Frightened, Albert rushed to his room, grabbed his father's golden rose encrusted dagger and sat and thought.
After collecting his thoughts, he got up and ran outside.
Using the blade he decapitated the monsters and rushed into Charlotte's house.
All he found however was the smell of a rotting corpse and a rather grotesque Charlotte staring back at him.
Albert's eyes bugged out of his head as he ran to the pub, holding his skirts so
he wouldn't trip over them.
Inside the bar was a group of townspeople, all human. However all said were not ideas on how to save those infected by the strange disease, only thoughts of ways to drag him out of hiding.
Even during dire times, those accused must remain as such I assume, he thought. He sighed, one day, I'll save you and all of those who fell victim to this virus, this I swear my dear Charlotte.
