[Habitat] Cassiel roams the globe. He has no fixed address or home and favours no one place over any other. He can spend years in one area of a city, or he can spend one, fleeting night on the edge of a tribe's territory... His near nomadic travelling can make him a difficult person to keep tabs on or to trace.
[Appearance] Despite his angelic origins Cassiel does not look quite so obviously other-wordly and divine... He watches, and in order to watch he had to find a means of escaping awkward questions or being so obvious in a crowd. When one is able to study him more closely the fact he is not human becomes clearer. He is of average height and perhaps a little more lithe than a human male might be. He has an almost ageless look about him that makes it difficult to guess at how old he might be... He would be unable to pass for a teen but could easily be thought of as being anything from his twenties to early thirties. His hair is ash blonde and usually wind-swept -- because of the way he travels. His complexion is pale and unflawed, leading to a slightly unfortunate tendency for occasional flushing when he feels awkward or embarrassed. His eyes are dark and almost shadowed in appearance - quite often they appear sad and weary, as if he has seen too much, which he probably has. At peace his eyes retain their liquid-like blackness, though when roused by any strong emotion a flicker of the fire with which he was once formed show in them and give a near crimson glimmer to them. Only when he is alone does Cassiel allow his wings to show - in general he keeps them concealed. They are large and rather beautiful and pearly white in colour.

[Characteristics] Patience was the key ingredient that went into him, at the time of his creation. He is restrained and often quite guarded. To some he might appear detached and a little cold, in terms of emotional capacity, but in reality he has learnt, over time, to hide all of this beneath a mask-like exterior. Always he has had the urge to watch and learn - he has an astoundingly good memory and knows how to use it. It could be argued that he is most at ease in his own company. He enjoys solitude and seems to draw comfort from it.
