Revenge says (( Pretty sure I just accidentally sent you a friend request getting to this lovely's profile haha. xD Oh well! Friennddss. )) *Revenge was a disease that could never be cured, constantly eating away at the soul until nothing was left. The hunger made the person who harbored vengeance gluttonous and cold, blinding their reason and making it so that they would do anything, anything, to get what they believed was justice for what had been done wrong. The source of such a disease of the emotions was unknown, but it was as old as time. It was feared, hated, misunderstood...and yet, it had become all that he had ever known and his previous life had begun to fade away behind shades of crimson and black. The tall, lanky but dashingly attractive man lifted a glass of dark red wine to his lips, or at least...it was in a wine glass. He stood comfortably next to a wall that was nothing but glass in the penthouse of one of the tallest buildings in the city, all of it his, watching as the tinted glass grew lighter and lighter as the sun faded further over the horizon, allowing moonlight to flood in where it had denied the sun's rays. His crimson gaze slowly slipped over toward the door as voices rose up behind it, the man only adjusting his suit and placing down his glass of "wine" as he waited for the crew that would burst in. Two other vampires rushed into the room, yanking a chain behind them that brought forward three humans, bound and gagged and looking terrified. He barely glanced over them as he held his eyes on the vampires that lead them in, taking in their equally as impressive appearances though noting, for the millionth time, their icy eyes that were so contrasting to his own blood-colored one* Ahhh, welcome back. It took you long enough. *the man said lowly, narrowing his crimson gaze before walking forward silently and smoothly, looking over the captives for the first time and allowing their scents to wash over him, eyes seeming to see into their souls* You believe these humans are immune? *he paused in front of one of the captives, turning his attention toward the lead hunter--a blonde vampire female that seemed to avoid his eyes* "Undoubtedly! They haven't been tested, but I know an immune when I smell one." *A dark chuckle echoed through the tiled room, the red-eyed vampire flashing a fanged grin* Well we'll just have to find out how right your intuition is, won't we? Take off their gags! Immediately! I want to know the names of our guests before we send them so rudely off.
