Pet Profile
The old wooden and stone gate that stands guard over the hidden portal to the Hallows has always had a guardian, one who is allowed to stay in the upside world for every day of every year. It's not a job just anyone can do; danger lurks around the corners and foul souls may attempt to make a break for it. The guardian of the Gate stands watch and deals with these menaces, as well as lead those who wandered too close to the gate back onto their rightful path. A statue of a ferocious beast stands before the gate, serving as a vessel for the guardian to dwell within.
Beskermer is the new guardian, only having been serving the spot for around a hundred years after the previous guardianship was up, that one spirit being her mentor. Protective of her homeland, her ghostly apparition has done well in scaring off those who seek to find the gate, until one day in her fiftieth year of guarding, she came along a small bat creature who took a shining to her, bringing sugary sweets that tantalized her senses. Deeming this bat alright, she let it hang around her, and thus gave it the name of Lunar, as it enjoyed to lounge under the moon's light.
However, the guardian of the gate's job is never done, and her story is just beginning.
