In a separate order from Snowbitten and the Seers, Astrum is part of a long forgotten group of pets who had been born from the heavens. Formed from the leftover stardust of an exploded star, she came to Misticpets to explore. Taking the shape of the haruba, a form she loves because of how streamlined and fluid it moves. Her coat still reflects the heavens above in the pattern of the sky where she originated from. Not long after, she was approached by a strange Kirui, who told her of a separate group of Heavenborns who were currently living on Mistica. Joining up with her new family, they taught her how to blend in better with the inhabitants, something her playful nature would benefit from.

While the years went by, she came across an Ahbruis named Snowbitten while he began his training under the Seers. A friendship slowly developed between the two, and it's a well hidden secret that Astrum began to like Snow more than a friend. Sadly her family had warned her of getting too involved in the affairs of the more mortal pets, due to how the Heavenborns' lifespans were vastly superior to them. Regardless of their warnings, she was the one who provided Snow with his very own misticpal, and not too long after that, Snow had returned the favor. Thus Acerbus came into her family.

Through her travels, as she found it difficult to stay in one place, nearly opposite of Snow, she stumbled upon a scared Cheran and their Kohal companion during a thunderstorm. The young nightmare pet was terrified, and at the sight of her had tried to hide, which made the haruba curious. Through a bit of coaxing and a fresh fish, she had been able to get close enough to talk to him.

She immediately took the two under her wing, not able to walk away from the adorable smile of Xael when he brightened up. Though being young in Heavenborn years, she had undertaken the role of being a mother to the two. A year of wandering around had taken its toll on the younger pets and Astrum knew she had to settle the two down in a home. And where else to take them but to Snow? The Ahbruis had earned the title of Oracle for a while now when the two pets were 'forced' upon him. All it had taken was a small smile and a wink before Snow had grumpily accepted responsibility. It would only be a matter of time until he accepted them as his own children, she knew this while she walked away.

Since then she had not been back to visit, years later, but to deal with the emotions in her heart had to come first. She desperately wanted to tell Snow the truth, about where she came from, what she was, and to confess the feelings that she had been hiding. But...

Would he return them?

Astrum is latin for star or constellation. Acerbus' name is latin for dark.
