Often forgetful of normal human interaction and is constantly followed around by Android to make sure she doesn't harm herself, for she's not quite as good as she thinks she is.

The inventor had seen the small girl on the street and felt immense pity for her. Lost in the crowd, just one of the nameless poor, she had been damaged in the scuffle. One arm was damaged beyond repair, and the selfish side of him wanted to test his genius.
He took her in, not sharing this ulterior motive with her, and gave her means to live. She could help him by being a guinea pig, and she idolized him as her savior, so he could do no wrong. There was no downside to his generous gesture.
But as she grew, she became a bit more insistent. She began to get in trouble around his workshop, and he grew irritated with needing to watch her. So he built her an Android companion, not only impose on her the rules every parent should, but also to support her as her older brother. And for a time, this was fine with her.
But one day, he disappeared without a word. She could never find him, and therefore would never know. She would never know if he was picked up for his inventing skills, or fell due to unseen illness, or simply left her for neglect. But she held his memory in highest regard, and decided she would take care of his house in his place, Android at her side.
