* She is a special girl due to her heritage. A mix of two royal bloodlines. Due to that, there were two gods that these bird-like beings were created from. Her mother's bloodline stemmed from the 'dark' destroyer God while her father's bloodline descended from the creation Goddess. Speaking of her mother, she was a real devil and was chained up and turned to stone for killing her father's wife and also him as well, after my girl was born. Her family was banished because of that.
* The Goddess bloodline of hers couldn't get rid of the larger 'demon bird' ability that the dark God grants all his descendants, so it instead purified and harnesses that power so she way use it to fight off those who are after her. In which the legend goes that a special being who is born of both warring gods will put either put an end to the war or be used to bring darkness across the land by presenting her blood to the seal that was applied to either stone statue of the god and goddess to awaken them. Sadly, Ami isn't a fighter at all.
