Appearance: Hazel is about average height but below average weight. She's not got a lot in terms of fat or muscle, so may come across as being lanky to some. She has a light dusting of freckles across her face, mostly under her eyes and across the bridge of her nose.
Hazel doesn't give much attention to her own looks. She wears what's comfortable for her, so it typically means baggy t-shirts and cargo shorts in the summer and sweaters and sweat pants in the winter. Of course, she will dress more proper if she's going out more than just to make a run to the store. She doesn't have a favorite color, but her clothes are typically paler, saturated colors over bright and vibrant colors. She says they're easier on the eyes.

Personality: Hazel is a helpful and caring individual despite her more withdrawn nature. Granted, her way of wanting to help is a bit different. From a young age, she grasped onto healing spells and enchantments. Perhaps it was from her mother constantly trying to help with her blindness that made that kind of magic stick to her. Not once has she ever thought to try and heal herself though. She was born that way and she'd die that way. It didn't bother her. And it wasn't like she was completely without sight.
Hazel's love for music turned to her trying to make her own music, except with a touch of magic. Music could make people feel better mentally, so why couldn't music potentially make them feel better physically better as well? She loves to try and make new music and to try and incorporate her magic into it so that it may heal others that listen to it. She goes on a lot about her music because of this. Or about music in general.
Hazel prefers to hide behind others and will run at the first sign of confrontation. Fights scare her, and if it can't be stopped, she doesn't want to see the outcome. And while Hazel tries to help others, sometimes she's not the most comforting, mostly thanks to her 'go with the hand you were dealt' attitude.
Other: Has a tuxedo cat companion named Sprite. He has a magical third eye that, when open, allows Hazel to see. If he's more than twenty feet from her, her vision will grow blurry, and at fifty feet it no longer works.
