Rainbow Reports Presents - Mistica, we have a problem!

“Hello and welcome to Rainbow Reports. We do apologize for the delay. This station was damaged in an attack against the, uh… what was it again girls?” The Wintercursed Gourix announced as the lights came up on stage. At his pause, his glowing blue eyes shifted onto the three long couches, where seven college student age girls were lounging on. The super heroes glanced between each other before nodding.

The purple haired girl leaned forward a bit, placing her hands on her lap. It looked like she was the nominated speaker, or so anyone thought.

“It was the Terra Mother, which as you could tell appeared to be a mutated version of a noble Stignightus. These creatures are very territorial and when they get set off on a rampage, everything around them will be decimated with those massive antlers of theirs. We’re lucky that we got here in time to stop the Mother from destroying all of Kingdom Village.” She replied with a calm voice, glancing into the camera. It was as if she had a way with words and with the way she spoke, it felt like you were going to be fine.

“Ah, right, so it was. Thank you for explaining that to our viewers! Anyways, the station was closed down for repair for a few weeks. I’m sure you got those updates on your tv screens. We do apologize for the inconvenience! However…” The gourix shifted in his chair for a moment, “We do not have time to answer all the questions that we have chosen for this segment. The Rainbow Scouts have decided to pick the lucky question that will be answered today. The lucky user who -”

Silence filled your house as the tv in front of you went black before a harsh static filled the room. Giving a yelp, you immediately mashed the button for volume to turn down the awful noise. The tv screen turned black after a few moments with a sentence with white bold letters which read ‘We appear to be experiencing technical difficulty at the station at this time. Please be patient as we try to correct this problem.’ on the screen.

You almost dropped your remote as you read and reread what the alert said. “Really? Just before they were about to announce whose question they were going to answer?” You complained and flopped back on your couch, grumbling. This was what you were looking forward to since last month. A tv show, with the one and only Rainbow Scouts? They were still a mystery to the people of Mistica and you were sure that a lot more people were as grumpy as you were now. “Total bummer. I just hope they get this fixed soon!” you mumbled.
