Character Spotlight: Cheshire

I like games because I like to play,
So come find me on any day.
You need a potion or a drink—
A special one that will make you shrink.

I'll grant you prizes and rewards—
Something special from my hoard:
A cake, a watch, a pot of tea,
A book, a hat, and then a key.

Parties are always a special treat
Filled with anniversary sweets.
Check by, I'll stock more.
I'll fill up every front of store.

We'll have some ice cream and pies,
Popcorn, chips and french fries.
Don't forget banners and balloons
And maybe an avatar for you.

Then we'll sit and laugh and say
All there is about unbirthdays,
Ravens and scones and time—
And funny things that rhyme.

We'll share a good riddle or two;
I like solving their clues.
Can you tell me one?
I'm sure we'll have good fun.

Hm? What else do I like?
Tuna, salmon and some pike,
Cheran nip, the Mad Hatter—
He's great for friendly chatter.

And don't forget the tea:
Chamomile, oolong and darjee,
Rooibos, lemon, earl grey—
That's a favorite as I say.

I also like my little teamus,
Who made my door his house.
A finer pal you're never find
Except this little pal is mine.

But I don't like loud noises;
Misticans, now, lower your voices.
Nor cups of cream do I desire,
Of that I am particularly tired.

I'll skip the wine and the bath.
Believe me, I can handle that.
I dislike fire and its flames.
The sleet, the cold, and icy rain.

Otherwise, I'll lend my smiles.
So come by and talk a while.
I'm sure, with me, you will endear.
After all, we're all mad here.
