Slushie Quest: Part 10
Written By Fallout
This was it, the fight of a lifetime. The Shadow struck first, tossing his beak blade at the emperon, who quickly deflected it with his spoon. “What? How?”
“I've studied the lost art of Spumoni and a little bit of Neapolitan!” Sebastian replied. “It seems the slow winter seasons were good for something after all!”
Powderpuff and all the little cave critters cheered him on as his fight with The Shadow continued. The Shadow broke some waffle cone stalagmites from the floor and chucked them at Sebastian like throwing knives, but he managed to avoid them by doing a Banana Split. He rolled in close and hit the angry obsideon with a Peanut Butter Ripple, halting his attempt to strike back with another waffle cone.
The Shadow wasn't about to take this fight lying down. He ran to an alter full of rainbow sprinkles, miniature gummy inarbi, and chocolate cookie pieces and threw them at Sebastian's feet, causing him to trip on the uneven surface. When he went in for the finisher however, Sebastian blinded him with a fistful of powdered sugar and finished him off with a Root Beer Float, shoving him backwards off the ledge before he could perform any more moves with hilarious names.
Powderpuff ran to the ledge and watched with Sebastian as The Shadow plummeted down below, landing with a loud pthblubt in a soft bed of sherbert below. “I'll get you for this next time, Sebastian!” the obsideon angrily shouted, shaking a fist above his head. “Next ti- sweet Mistmas in July, this stuff is cold!” They watched as the sherbert shifted, emptying The Shadow from its chamber and depositing him somewhere outside on the mountain.
The cacophony picked up again as the cave critters danced in circles in celebration of Sebastian's victory. Their celebration was cut short however as a dark shadow loomed over them.
“Not so fast...” a feminine voice said.
Sebastian rubbed some of the powdered sugar out of his eyes as they gazed upon the face of their newest foe. “Miss Kitty?” Powderpuff's little jaw dropped when they saw their employer standing before them.
The blonde haired haruba's white, faux fur coat seemed less out of place in the cold cave, but her impossibly tall heels looked just as baffling to walk in as ever. Miss Kitty held what looked like an opaque condiment bottle filled with a dark liquid in front of her, the nozzle aimed at Sebastian and Powderpuff.
“Don't either of you move. This thing is filled with hot fudge with emphasis on the hot!” she threatened.
Sebastian put his flippers in the air and stared her down defiantly. “Miss Kitty. I should have known you were behind all this.”
“Yes. I hired The Shadow because I knew you had the brains to find the Golden Slushie but not the courage to take it all. I was not banking on his incompetence forcing me to get involved directly. Now, the slushie in your bag please, and do hurry up. I have a plane to catch!”
Powderpuff threw the bag in front of them. “Come and get it, Miss Kitty,” Sebastian challenged.
Without setting the hot fudge down, she stepped forward and reached for the bag. Sebastian quickly yanked it out from under her, the resulting force of the tug causing her to lose her balance when heels proved to be impractical for walking on uneven cave floor, and she too plummeted screaming to the sherbert below.
“My coat! It's ruined!” Miss Kitty shouted as the sherbert stained it rainbow colors. “Sebastian, you are gonna pay my dry cleaning bill!” she said as the sherbert sucked her out through the same spout that led to the mountain outside where it had earlier deposited The Shadow.
This time the cave critters brought out tiny instruments to play as they danced in their circles and cheered. “Well Powderpuff. We've got the slushie and it's finally time to go home.”
“Squeak squeak?”
“Nope. I don't think they're getting back through those traps again anytime soon. I think this place is safe,” Sebastian replied. He shouldered the bag and patted the poof on the head. “Let's go home, little buddy.”
Looks like everything worked out okay in the end after all. Tune in next time for the thrilling conclusion to Slushie Quest!

I am very impressed with how sebastian's skills improved with his performance of moves with hilarious names. What do you suppose his style of Kung Fu or Karate is called?
