This Month in Mistica is a quick guide to everything that’s happened on site in the past month. Whether you’re new and want a better idea of what goes on here, an older user who’s returning, or simply too lazy to read the news, this article has all -- okay, most -- of the information you need!

2015 had a cold beginning with the release of the Frost Risylki on January 1^st! Things warmed up a bit the next day with the appearance of the ruby red January Kohal, as well as the monthly Credit Shop update.

Vending received its update on the 3^rd.

Monty’s Jade Emporium found a new location on the 5^th, and a new hatchipal was found on the 4^th level of mining. Four new books also stocked for the month on January.

The 6^th revealed the new monthly Champion gift and three new hidden avatars.

A new pal, the Lioki, was discovered just in time for Laufeyson’s birthday on the 8^th!

On the 9^th, Keilly’s Café and Mistica Cuisine began stocking several new foods.

The next day mining was updated with a log to show your previous activity, and the Vending Machine was updated with new ways to choose what items you get.

The 11^th had another update for Vending with the addition of the Crackers, and a new hidden avatar was released.

The Delight Pixie was busy fluttering around two days later, dropping New Year Crackers on random people.

A whole bunch of seasonal hidden avatars were released on the 14^th.

The next day we got a Hero Rat update on Pandoria.

New hidden avatars were released on the 17^th and trading was updated. Two new pets, the Wintergreen Braenon and Frodrinn, were discovered, and it looks like a new little Wintergreen Lanturat snuck in with them!

On the 20^th some site coding was updated and the Terminal Braenon, Kohal and Draklaita were released.

We got a visit from our favorite Doctor on the 22^nd in the form of a crash landing! His ship seemed to spew out some odd Fandom chests, filled with items from other worlds – and our own – to collect!

Dr. Erlenmeyer acquired an odd new prize for her quests in the form of a Glowing Cloud on the 23rd, and just in time for Detective’s birthday!

Concerned with how the otherworldly items would mix into Mistica’s world, the Doctor spend the 28^th and the 30^th trying to track them down, though he was only partly successful.

Hopefully January will take the cold with it, and we can all enjoy a bit of warmth – after all, the hordes are coming; we might as well all get lovesick in nice weather.
