This Month in Mistica is a quick guide to everything that’s happened on site in the past month. Whether you’re new and want a better idea of what goes on here, an older user who’s returning, or simply too lazy to read the news, this article has all -- okay, most -- of the information you need!

We started off August with the reveal of a room of incredible prehistoric art.

On the 2nd, the Vending Machine and Credit Shop got their usual monthly updates.

The 4th uncovered the third and final room of the repository, a grand library full of old scrolls and ancient books. While our heroes were discovering lost knowledge, the imps and sprites attempted to one up the other side by gathering information.

Having heard of the great repository, the ever-curious Aibrean took a break from the Kingdom Village Library to check out what the gurahdia and gargoyles had uncovered.

On the 6th there was a Mistica-wide food drive to help the hungry workers!

Aibrean arrived at the quarry the next day but was accosted by imps! She quickly dove into a shop’s open window to wait them out.

The morning of the 8th revealed Aibrean to have hidden in Soraya’s new shop! Two big new features – Mining and Crafting – were revealed, along with Perryn’s blacksmith shop.

Mistica wasn’t done with surprises. The very next day Pandoria visited Dakota and the Lysadors, an ancient species who gained her favor many years ago and received life in return, were released.

The imps had been causing havoc all around the quarry, attempting to make good on Boreal’s bounty for her lost Kohals, but they couldn’t beat the allied gargoyles and gurahdia. Knowing this, they instead made off with a powerful spell. Queen Boreal was not pleased.

On the 13th, the Baby and Terror Lysadors were released!

Two days later the plot prize shop opened, stocked with old and new items.

Dakota Jones – or the Strange Traveler – started traveling again, and so his quests were reopened on the 18th. Harmony’s quest was also updated.

On the 20th a Hero Rat update was posted, as well as a little about the battle system. New chat icons were also released.

Three days later another pillow fight began!

On the 25th we celebrated Boo’s birthday with a lovely new item, the Shield of Aesthetic. The site also got some small updates and a special item was put in the Giveaway.

Aibrean stocked the Library with some new books on the 28th.

The 30th saw the release of the Daydream and Nightmare Rickets.

With a whole new area to explore and items to mine and create, Mistica has been quite busy this month!
