This Month in Mistica is a quick guide to everything that’s happened on site in the past month. Whether you’re new and want a better idea of what goes on here, an older user who’s returning, or simply too lazy to read the news, this article has all -- okay, most -- of the information you need!

June started off with a contest to pretty up our Tumblr!

The next day the Vending Machine received its usual update, along with the new Legacy Token! We also celebrated the birthday of one awesome artist, Pesticide! An adorable new puppy was released just for her.

June Credit Shop items were available on the 3rd, but the selection was a bit smaller than usual. Turns out our old foe Monty set up a special hidden shop and he’s smuggled in some rare goods! It’s not easy to get in, however…

On the 4th the June Kohal became available, and the Nightmare and Daydream Shyres were discovered.

The next day a Hero Rat update was posted. Some coding was also updated.

New items for your Art Galleries were made available on the 7th.

On the 8th we celebrated Joy’s birthday! A lovely new Equinox pal was released. New hand puppets also began stocking in the Toy Factory.

The Voodoo Belragoth was discovered on the 9th.

All the new puppets merited an avatar release on the 11th! Fishing also received some new pals (food?) for you to reel in.

The 12th saw new updates in gender options.

Friday the 13th wasn’t terribly unlucky, as the Cirrus and Nimbus Jinxes were released! These mysterious pets were also made available for free creation in small batches for the day.

The 15th was Father’s Day! Some shiny new toys were re-released in the Giveaway.

Mondays usually get people down, but the 16th was filled with pies! To combat this onslaught of sugar and simple carbohydrates, some healthy yogurt was also released, and a new fruit started showing up in the Tombola.

Two days later our server move began.

The 19th was a Hero Rat update.

Sango Reef got a little more lively with new stock from the Fish Monger and Sea Witch!

Some distant aquatic cousins of Jumboyo Village’s pets got on Monty’s nerves on the 21st. The sea monkeys apparently caused some havoc around his secret shop, and so Misticans were tasked with finding the pesky critters!

The next day a new feature, the Box Exchange, was released.

On the 23rd a lovely new tag began stocking in the Credit Shop. We also welcomed Lantern to the writing team, and began the search for a new item artist.

The Fish Monger began stocking some delicious new sushi and bento boxes on the 24th. Back on land, the Shyre Poppet was released, as well as the Cirrus and Nimbus Izabel!

Two days later the Sea Witch had three new items stocking.

Custom items were released on the 27th.

Are your pets sick to death of eating your extra pommes? Well, Kalla Lily introduced a new game to take care of that on the 28th!

June was a month of new features, which must explain why the many characters around Mistica were content to keep to themselves. Maybe July will be just as quiet? We haven’t heard from the imps or sprites lately…
