Surviving a Vacation With Your Pets: Part 1
Written By Fallout
So you want to go on vacation by yourself huh? Too bad. You were the one who committed yourself to twenty-five pets. Looks like you'll have to take them all with you! But you remember what happened the last time you did that, right? Now you're no longer allowed to come back to the hotel or the country of Paraguay for that matter. Here are some simple tips you can follow to prevent another repeat of that incident!
1.Warn the hotel if you have unintentionally destructive pets ahead of time. Inferno and Storm pets are a good example of this. They don't mean to set things on fire or electrocute people as they walk down the sidewalk, it just happens! Many hotels that allow Misticpets have rooms to accommodate such special pets. Fireproof bedding and couches might not be as comfortable as the silk and Dosling down sheets in the classier rooms, but it's better than having to keep a fire extinguisher around every corner.
Alternative: Look into a local kennel. They'll be fine while you're out with your Daydream and Overgrowth pets, right? Right?
2.Keep Storm pets away from the pool area. Remember when your Storm Haruba decided to randomly do a cannonball into the deep end of the indoor pool and everyone came out with their hair comically sticking every which way like in those old cartoons? Yeah, the resulting restraining order kind of makes it hard to forget. Make sure you keep your Storm pets restrained and inform them of the rules ahead of time.
Alternative: Let your Storm pet take a bath in the hotel room and play in that. It's a little known fact that Storm pets love baths for some reason, and assuming you followed the first tip, the hotel should have supplied you with special rubber rooms to keep everyone from getting shocked when he dives in.
3.You might want to eat in at the hotel room. Going out to a restaurant is nice, but not when you've got two hungry Inarbi and a Kratork with a hankering for steak tagging along for the ride. No one wants to watch your pets eat like feeding time at the zoo, so it might be a good idea to have a pizza delivered to your room or order room service. On that note, no one wants to clean up after your pets either after they're done eating, so you might want to either clean up after your pets yourself or leave the cleaning lady a really big tip.
Alternative: Some hotels that take in Misticpets might have a restaurant on the ground floor where you can take them if you absolutely must leave the room to eat or you can also order food to go somewhere and have a relatively nice picnic lunch far from the watchful eyes of society.
Stay tuned next month for more vacation tips for your pet!
