Beating the Winter Blues
Written By TheBrokenFox
There is energy that flows through all of us, the energy of life. When we get run down, it is often because we are running on one cylinder and have become unbalanced in our chakras. With winter finally subsiding, now is a wonderful time to rebalance our spirits and get back in full swing for the rest of the year. How do we do that, you ask? Well get out your pets and go find some of these basic ingredients that will help you, and your pets, relax a little easier and become more focused after the winter blues.
The chakras are separated into seven parts of the body, and each one is represented by a colour and stone. The “crown” is the seventh chakra that represents the mind and understanding. The colour of this energy is purple, and you can cleanse your mind by taking a pure amethyst stone and placing it on the top of your head, repeating, “I wish to understand.” If you have a Breanon, they often help in the aid of cleansing this chakra. If you have completely earned the trust of your Breanon, you may ask them if you may touch their antenna. This has had profound healing abilities for those who have become unfocused. It will not work if you do not own one of these pets, or have just accepted them into the family, however.
The sixth chakra resides in the forehead, and it is known as the chakra of the third eye. The colour is indigo with the corresponding colored stone of lolite. Placing this stone between your eyes or slightly above the brow is said to bring better sight, both physically and mentally. When used in conjunction with the crown chakra, it can bring all new clarity. If you are having a block when it comes to creativity, school, or work, unblocking this chakra could be your saving grace. Phantom pets are the best at channeling this chakra. Try having the pet over your eyes while meditating “I wish to see.”
If you have been disconnected to your loved ones, your pets, or yourself during the long winter season, balancing the throat chakra could bode well for you. This is the fifth wavelength of energy that represents the color blue. Blue lace agates and lapis lazuli are the best stones to meditate with, and these should be concentrated on the throat. Reciting “I wish to speak” will help to balance this particular chakra. Panju, koko, and jumboyo pets that are willing to help you balance your energies are actually quite useful as they are very social creature. Another fine pet to help you is eledons, as they are arguably one of the most social of all pets found in Mistica.
Any pet associated with water, especially Gourix, help balance the fourth chakra, heart. Another good companion to help you with this are anya, as they have a calm aura when concentrating. The heart is not located to the side of the chest, but rather the center just under the collar bones. . This chakra is green, based on love and compassion. Opening this energy will allow you to find love more passionately in not only the physical world, but the mental as well. With Infestation come and gone, you don’t need the help of a stray cootie or luv bug to help you intensify your love. The stones of the heart include malachite and rose quartz. Holding one of these stones to your chest while chanting, “I wish to love” will help this energy re-awaken.
The chakra of the third line is the solar plexus, located at the bottom of your rib cage above the belly button. Reenergizing this chakra is best done on a sunny morning, when the energy of the day is rising. Keeping amber, citrine, or topaz to the designated area while concentrating on “I wish to do” will help you focus on your will power. The color of this chakra is yellow, and it helps increase not only will power but the power of laughter. If you are having trouble staying calm or relaxing, remember to take time for yourself. Haruba and ahbruis are excellent companions to help you.
Second in line is the sacral chakra, located between the hips and just below the naval. This symbolizes passion, desire, and procreation. It is best to meditate on “I wish to feel” during a waxing moon. Chanting “I wish to feel” while holding a piece of coral to this region is best when about to embark on an emotionally challenging event, such as a funeral or wedding. Nocturnal pets are actually quite useful when balancing this chakra, as their bioluminescence seems to enhance the power of the moon.
The last chakra is that of the feet, or root chakra. This is the color red, and it symbolizes survival and being spiritually grounded or humble. . This is a healthy balance to perform before adopting or breeding your pets, as it will create a more powerful feeling of home and belonging. To balance this chakra, it is best to obtain a ruby, garnet, onyx, or obsidian and hold it between your feet while rehearsing, “I wish to be”. Desert pets are great to help you with this cleansing, as they are perhaps the most survival-driven due to their harsh environments. Kohal are very humble creatures and make great pet companions if you need extra help with this one.
You may take into consideration that the region your pet was born in can be very indicative of how they use their energy. Arctic pets, on average, are more in tune with their seventh, sixth and fifth chakra energies while woodland pets are one with their heart and solar plexis. Desert pets are unified with the grounded chakras of the second and first order. If you are so fortunate as to have a pet imbued with the magic of Pandoria, Zodiac, Overgrowth, and Daydream, all of them have wonderfully balanced chakras. Keep in mind that this is a basic overview and your pets may not be all the same in this regard. Each pet is unique, but as a whole, these are the findings I have come across to make my generalizations.
With all of that said, you can always find happiness within yourself. With the power of knowledge, meditation, and your pet companions, you too can find your place of balance. Don’t let the winter bog you down any longer! Just grab a pet and begin your journey, seeking peace for the coming year.
