Imp Museum Housing Stolen Goods Open to Outsiders
Written By Fallout

You receive a random event! You click on it, hoping to get something good -- some free food, a little bit of pocket change, a rare visit from the Delight Pixie, perhaps? Nope. Pandoria apparently wasn't shining on you this morning because a stupid Imp just pushed you down and kicked sand in your face and now that super rare Hatchipal that you just won from an auction is gone.

Have you ever wondered what the Imps do with those items that they steal from you? Well now is your chance to find out, as the Imps have just announced the opening to the public of a museum that no one else was even aware existed! The Imp Museum of Stolen Items was previously only available for fellow Imps to view until hard times and the need to replace broken glassware and furniture from countless bar fights and petty scuffles forced them to allow outsiders entry. Located in the deepest, darkest part of Darkwood Hollow, the old, wooden building that houses the museum is rotting and structurally unsound from years of hard rain and the kind of quality care that only an Imp could provide.

There were many issues we encountered during our visit. The price is steep at 25MP per visit (or if you don't have MP, they'll charge you 700k in credits and hope you don't notice them ripping you off). Once inside the Imps used every excuse they could to charge you for more credits. One area of the museum was dedicated to foods. Left unrefrigerated for many years, that section of the museum wasn't a pleasant place to be without a gas mask or HAZMAT gear, which were conveniently on sale at a kiosk outside the exhibit door for 10MP (or 300k) per set. There was also the charge of 100MP per bathroom visit with no chance to pay in credits, so we recommend bringing an empty water bottle.

The most trouble came from the “petting zoo” section that housed Misticpals. It was closed off during our visit as the poor security allowed many of them to escape. Not really feeling up to going around and gathering them all up, the guards simply left dishes of food out for them and offered a reward to anyone who caught a pal and turned it in. Every once in a while we'd come across a wandering Jaino or a Desert Mouse hiding within a library of pilfered books and even managed to capture a fleeing Nathusion, though the reward turned out to be expired pizza coupons, so we don't recommend going out of your way to catch them on your visit. Patrons should also know to watch the floors as many of the stolen pals weren't yet trained to use the litterboxes that the Imps had left out for them.

We noticed a strange lack of a toy or plushie section until we reached the gift shop portion of the museum and found out where they'd all ended up. One bin held plush toys while a stack of beanbags sat in the corners. They were even generous enough to allow visitors a free stolen popsicle stick with every purchase.

All in all it was a weird experience, but I was happy to at least see my missing dinosaur blankie again, even though it was nailed to a rack like a Stignightus skin. If you've ever had something stolen from you, this opportunity would be the perfect experience to see it once again. Reclaiming it on the other hand is another story.
