A Guest for Dinner

My mind wandered the other day (as I get older it happens a lot) and when it came back to me it was in possession of questions. We have so many unique characters here on Mistica, so many different shop keepers and plot personalities. For those of us who make the site our everyday haunt, they can seem as real as our neighbors and friends. We look forward to seeing the seasonal characters as the calendar grinds on through the year, wonder if we will ever see them again as a celebration ends and miss them when they are gone...


Oh – right! The question: Who would you invite to dinner (if you could), why and what would you serve?


My latest obsession... I mean, choice, would be: Elijah. I love the wild quirky character and can just see him attempting table manners. Ahhh, a night to remember! I think I would serve some kind of large bird (he strikes me as a bird eater) and lots of pie.


I had thought at first about inviting Jack Skillow, but I value my family silver and I'd have to give him a bath before letting him in the house. That wouldn't go over good at all. Have you ever tried to give a Haruba a bath? It doesn't end well.


Then I thought of Jasper, but there would be downsides to that too. If he didn't like the food, then Mistica would be short a writer as I have no doubt that he would sic Gregory on me. He might even do that just for fun!

 

Intrigued with my own answers, I took to the members of Mistica, curious as to who they would choose.


Caustic said: This is hard...but I think I'd invite Erika. XD
We'd confuse people with our names, and then exchange hair dying tips and piercing stories, and hopefully she'd bring dessert! I can throw together a decent dinner but actual baking is a different story. >.>


Sunny jumped in with: Oh~ this is easy!!!
Tormic: I'm a  huge fangirl of his! He seems like he'd be very interesting to hang out with, I'd definitely ask him where he gets his bandanas! And what pals he likes best!


Ruthie said this: No question, it would be Bud. I think he could use a good meal, and it might help his disposition a little bit.


Masshiro sweetly came forward with : It should be obvious.... *blushblush* (Aurelius) I hope he'd love some Mistmas-dinner? By candle-lite mistmas tree. ;w;


Lullay's input was: Jeremy, definitely. He seems like he'd be a nice fellow. And I just think he's adorable. And I'm sure he'd tell me all sorts of fun things about his plushies. (And perhaps I'd hassle him into giving me a few ) As for the meal? He seems like a guy that has a sweet tooth. Perhaps some fruit tarts of some kind for a light meal.


Whoever  your favorite is; whoever you would have as a guest, friend or hostage: the shopkeepers and the collection of diverse personalities that animate our site are definitely engaging.
