A few tips for dealing with those tiny miracles or disasters we call random events.

I imagine you're one of those dedicated members eager to spend hours endlessly clicking around to find that darn genderbug again! That dark, mystifying square innocently stares at you from the top of the page, until you just have to click it and, before long, you are sucked into the mystery. The consequence could be good or bad, for it comes down to chance. Rest assured, these quick and easy tips will tell you not only how to prepare but also how to deal with the end result.

Tip 1: Always keep your inventory empty of valuable items!

Those sneaky imps, they don’t care about no one—except themselves of course. So take precautions; remove temptation from their path and your stash of goodies will remain safe. (Or you could always fill it with rainbows and puppies -- imps hate that!) I would recommend keeping your items in your impenetrable safebox or arranging your bits and pieces in a gallery. You wouldn't want your precious Pandoria Box to be stolen would you? That just sounds like a nightmare come true, so prevent it now!

Tip 2: Don’t believe you’re in random event denial.

We all hear about the terrible or wonderful things caused by the random event, but whatever the outcome you shouldn't just abandon the thought of random events altogether. You never know, you may get lucky and receive items or MC. Now let’s get scientific: there are around 16 random events with over half of them being something positive. I suggest that you do click-- unless you have a spot of thunder clouds above your head or are wearing that horse shoe upside down-- and find out what’s beyond the Mistican mist…

Tip 3: Let it all out!

Have you just won the Pandoria Box that the Delight Pixie has been giving away, or maybe your pet has been bitten by the gender bug? Come tell us about it! You’ll soon find other members in the same situation and it’s always nice to chat about it and to think what your pets would actually say.

Last Tip: Enjoy the thought-- have a laugh!

Remember Mistica without RE’s? We missed those squares of randomness so much, we knew they just had to come back! You know as well as I do that we constantly look forward to seeing it when the page loads, and the beauty is that even if it doesn't come there is always that chance it will come next time.

Random events are what it says on the tin, they could make you laugh or cry, be good or bad. Preparing beforehand and thinking positively are the best tips anybody can give and now that you have that in your brain, go on a clicking frenzy!
