This Month in Mistica is a quick guide to everything that’s happened on site in the past month. Whether you’re new and want a better idea of what goes on here, an older user who’s returning, or simply too lazy to read the news, this article has all -- okay, most -- of the information you need!

February was a busy month! We were bombarded by bugs, candy and cards, and barely had time to recuperate from that before the Rougarou was awakened for Revelry!

The month started off celebrating the birthday of one of our wonderful artists, Deedlitmon! The same day the contest winner for Writing and Poetry were announced: Sinligreep, kama, Repose; Embyr, Marianis. The Credit Shop was stocked with all sorts of goodies for the coming Infestation invasion as well.

February 2nd celebrated the eledon! A visual, pinata and items and a whole new collection were all released.

On the 3rd Infestation began! Cooties and lovebugs swarmed over Mistica, only to be caught and stuck in galleries or some pets' stomachs! To sweeten up this otherwise dreaded time of year, Rosebud and Maury teamed up to open a special Infestation shop, where boxes of four different kinds of candy hearts could be sent out to other users (60 hearts in all).

The 7th saw a release of a bunch of cards you could send to friends from the Infestation shop, and the candy hearts got their own collection. To make things a little more interesting for cootie and lovebug collectors, several new ones found their way to Mistica!

Two days later, Rosebud's shop was overflowing with older Infestation-themed items.

On the 11th two new graphic artists -- KTH and Ajax -- joined the team. Rosebud released four lovely new rose lollipops, a new lovebug made its appearance, and two new pets were discovered: the Wintercursed Panju and Wintergala Zokuleon.

Three days later, the lovebugs and cooties started biting back! Active pets, after being caught in the swarms, came down with heartsickness and lovesickness, only curable by love potions or sweet things -- or eating a cootie or lovebug.

The next day we celebrated Aurora's birthday!

Infestation finally ended on the 16th. The cooties and lovebugs left, and we all tried to stock up on love potions to cure those pesky diseases! Congratulations were given to the two users who caught the most lovebugs and cooties: Shedinja (lovebugs) and Caitlingal (cooties)!

After that, contests had a bit of an overhaul; prizes were changed and it was mentioned that the contests themselves might be different some months. We also celebrated Keshi's birthday!

On the 21st Pandoria surprised us all with four new hatchipal eggs -- nearing spring must have given her some serious energy!

We all celebrated Thanatoasts's birthday on the 22nd! The auctions and some layouts were also updated.

Bayou Benni started making some noise on the 24th, and it didn't go unnoticed! He woke up the monstrous Rougarou, who took him captive and demanded revelry items to keep him happy -- or he'd eat poor Benni! Tossing began of various plastic beads and cups and things, and the Rougarou set up quests to collect what he wanted out of them.

With Revelry in full swing and the Rougarou's threat over our heads, February proved itself a very crazy month. Maybe March will settle everyone down a bit...
